In a flow laboratory with modern equipments the Ruscheweyh Consult GmbH executes model tests for flow optimization for power plants and other large plants, i.e.:

The aim of optimization is:

  • Mixing of differents flows
  • Homogenising of flow velocities, guiding the flow
  • Reduction of pressure loss
  • Aeroacoustics
  • Distribution of dust particles
  • Avoiding of visible plum.

A special point of main effort is the mixing of different gases. For this mixing process a so called "vortex-inducing-mixer" is used,
which has been developed by Prof. Dr.-Ing. H. Ruscheweyh and which is patented by Balche-Dürr (» SGM = Static Gas Mixer).
